If God Says you can…you can.

“Don’t ever put a question mark where God puts a period.” —Unknown. Our God is truth; if He says He has given you something, He has. If He says you can do something, however impossible it may seem, you can.

Do You Feel Broken Beyond Repair?

God listens and He hears you; repeat the prayer below as often as you need to.

A prayer for brokenness:

“Dear God, I look at the brokenness of my life and see no way back to wholeness. Only You can put me back together again. In faith, I humbly place myself in Your loving hands knowing what I cannot do, You can. Restore my brokenness, Lord, and make me whole again, in Jesus’s name.”

Repent, then, and turn to God…

When we sin, we can temporarily lose our joy. But God knows we will sin—this is one reason why He tells us not to let sin steal our joy—He is calling us to repent. Why? Because repentance leads to restoration and restoration allows our joy to return. After he sinned, King David prayed a prayer of repentance, then prayed that God would restore him to the joy of His salvation (Psalm 51:9-12). When you sin, repent to God in your heart and with your mouth and He will restore your joy.

“I Will”

Our God is a confident and decisive God. He is true and trustworthy. Look anywhere in the Bible and you will not find God saying, “I might…”, “I should…”, or “I could…”; when He speaks, His words are, “I am…”, “I can…”, and “I will…”. God is the only one who is always victorious, and His words will never fail. In all things, trust in our God.

Go to the Rock Expecting

Have you ever been unsure of yourself…wondered whether that problem is too difficult, or that dream too big? We all have. Those obstacles that look insurmountable, those dreams that seem impossible—they can all be overcome and accomplished with God’s Divine Help.

When the Israelites were desperate for water, fearful that they would literally die of thirst out there in the desert wilderness of Paran, what was it that brought them their miracle? Prayer. Moses humbled himself and prayed. Then, in obedience to God’s answer, he struck the rock with his staff. Water not only flowed out of the stone, it gushed out in a flood—more, I believe, than even Moses expected. After all, the Bible records that God was providing for 1,000,000 people, and their livestock.

Floods of favor are awaiting you, so, when you come up against a giant too menacing or dare to believe in a dream “too big”, use the most powerful tool He gave you and pray…then pick up your staff and go to the rock expecting.
